Alpha Childcare - Canning Town are looking for a new Childcare Apprentice. You will be studying toward your Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship L2.
We are looking for a passionate, hardworking and dedicated individual who is eager to create a stimulating, challenging, warm and welcoming environment that supports children to develop holistically and achieve their next steps. We are committed to helping our apprentices become confident practitioners by providing high-quality training, ongoing support and mentorship throughout their programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a key person for a group of children, supporting their individual learning and development.
- Observing, supervising and engaging with children through play and planned activities.
- Learning how to effectively support the day-to-day running of a room.
- Building positive relationships and working in partnership with parents and carers.
- Preparing and promoting healthy snacks and encouraging healthy lifestyles.
- Creating and maintaining an enriching, safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting safeguarding procedures and promoting the welfare of all children.
- Assisting with general housekeeping duties, including hoovering, mopping, washing up and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Supporting children's emotional, social, physical and intellectual development through meaningful interactions and activities.
- Following nursery policies and procedures and working as part of a team to provide high-quality childcare.
Pay: £16,640.00 per year
