Role Overview
· MGP are a busy Hailsham based Specialist Steel Fabrication & Construction Company with ongoing work throughout London, South-East and beyond.
· MGP are looking to employ a Steel Detailer to work alongside & supplement the existing detailing team
· The Steel Detailer would be responsible for producing accurate, fully coordinated structural steel fabrication and erection drawings from engineers’ design information.
· The role supports fabrication, procurement, and site erection by ensuring steelwork is detailed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with contract requirements, standards, and project programs.
Detailing & Modelling - Produce detailed structural steel drawings and 3D models for :
· Structural frames
· Beams, columns, and bracing
· Stairs, handrails, and miscellaneous steel
· Manufacturing Drawings
· Installation Drawings
· + Bolt lists and Material Schedules
Collaboration - Be Able to Efficiently Liaise with :
· Existing Team
· Structural Engineers
· Fabrication Supervisors
· Steel Erectors
· Project Managers
· Other Trade Sub-Contractors when Required
· + Incorporate design changes and RFIs efficiently
Essential Experience
· Tekla Structures (Minimum 1-2 Years)
· Proficient in Microsoft Suite Services (Outlook, Excel, Word)
· Strong ability to read and interpret structural engineering drawings
· Good time management
· Able to work well under pressure to meet deadlines

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
