Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Forest Craftsperson to join our team in Hampshire/Surrey. This contract will run from Now to the end of September. This role involves maintenance and watering trees .The ideal candidates will have a keen interest in forestry with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in landscape environmental conservation.
Duties
- Maintaining and watering trees accurately according to project specifications.
- Assisting with site preparation
- Conducting routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency during operations
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects within specified timelines
Requirements
- Prior experience or knowledge in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture would be ideal although not a necessity
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Strong organisational skills with attention to safety procedures at all times
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Must have a driving license and be able to drive to sites
- It is important that you can commit from Now to the end of September
This role is ideal for individuals who are looking to take those first steps into forestry or for those experienced foresters looking for a temp role.
Salary £105 per day . 40 hour week. Must have car due to work locations
