Summary
The Digital Sales Executive is responsible for maximising the conversion of all digital sales opportunities into showroom appointments, test drives and vehicle sales opportunities.
Acting as the first point of contact for many of our customers, the Digital Sales Executive will deliver a professional, engaging and sales-focused experience that creates confidence in Richmond Motor Group and our brands.
The role requires strong communication skills, commercial awareness and a genuine passion for converting enquiries into appointments and appointments into sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage all digital sales enquiries received via website, manufacturer platforms, Auto Trader, Carwow, live chat, and other digital channels.
- Respond to all customer enquiries within agreed service level agreements whilst maintaining exceptional quality standards.
- Build rapport quickly with customers, identifying their requirements, motivations and purchase intentions.
- Convert customer enquiries into high-quality showroom appointments, test drives and virtual consultations.
- Maintain regular contact with prospective customers through telephone, email, SMS and digital communication channels.
- Professionally handle customer objections and barriers to appointment attendance.
- Work closely with dealership sales teams to maximise appointment attendance and sales conversion.
- Accurately record customer interactions, activity and outcomes within the CRM system.
- Execute outbound follow-up activity to maximise every sales opportunity and prevent lead ageing.
- Support group campaigns, events, launches and sales initiatives through targeted customer engagement activity.
- Continuously develop product, finance and competitor knowledge to support customer conversations.
- Maintain a high-performance mindset and actively contribute towards individual, team and group objectives.
