- Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Position Overview:
Joseph James Furniture Outlet is looking for a Warehouse Operative & Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves warehouse operations and furniture delivery, ensuring efficient handling, preparation, and transport of stock.
Due to van insurance policies, applicants must be aged 25 or over.
Key Responsibilities: Delivery Driving:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver furniture to customers.
- Ensure punctual and professional delivery, handling items with care to prevent damage.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns.
Warehouse Operations:
- Wrapping & Preparing Furniture – Securely wrap various types of furniture, including sofas, tables, and cabinets, to prevent damage during transport.
- Lifting & Handling – Move and lift furniture safely, using equipment or team assistance as needed.
- Labelling & Stock Checking – Accurately label, check, and manage stock.
- Warehouse Organisation – Maintain a clean and organised workspace.
Key Requirements:
- Must be 25 years or older (due to insurance policies).
- Valid UK driving licence (essential).
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy items regularly.
- Experience in a warehouse or delivery role is beneficial but not required.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
