Food Preparation & Kitchen Assistant - Immediate Start
Flexible Shifts | Job Share Opportunities Available
HQ is looking for reliable and organised Food Preparation & Kitchen Assistants to join our growing food team.
This is a behind-the-scenes food preparation role focused on assembling, finishing and presenting food to a consistently high standard.
Unlike a traditional café, customers order digitally and food is prepared out of sight before being delivered to tables by our service team.
This role is ideal for people looking for flexible daytime hours, school-hours working, part-time hospitality work or job-share opportunities.
Available Shift Patterns
Monday to Friday
- 7:00am – 1:00pm
- 1:00pm – 5:00pm
Saturday & Sunday
- 8:30am – 12:30pm
- 12:30pm – 5:00pm
Applicants can apply for individual shifts, multiple shifts or job-share arrangements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing food stations before service
- Preparing ingredients and garnishes
- Assembling and plating menu items
- Maintaining food safety and hygiene standards
- Supporting stock management and rotation
- Completing kitchen cleaning procedures
- Helping maintain exceptional presentation standards
