Head Chef -Poole
We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. If you thrive in a dynamic environment and are dedicated to culinary excellence, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to shape the future of The Salt Pig kitchen.
We maintain our own butchery and use top-quality, locally sourced meat and produce — you’ll have plenty of room to experiment, create, and refine new dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
Develop and innovate seasonal menus in line with our brand and customer preferences.
Manage and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Control food costs, inventory, and ordering to maximize profitability.
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations.
About You:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef in a busy kitchen environment for 3 years
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Creative flair with a passion for delivering high-quality cuisine.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
Must be able to work weekends and evenings
