We are now seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Quality Monitoring Officer to join our team.
As a Care Quality Monitoring Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring that care standards are consistently maintained and enhanced across the organisation. You will be responsible for monitoring service quality, supporting staff development, and ensuring ongoing compliance with CQC and regulatory requirements.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular spot checks and shadowing of care staff to ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Conduct client reviews at regular intervals, or as required, to ensure care plans remain accurate and reflective of needs.
- Accurately record and document all findings within the care management system, maintaining clear audit trails and compliance with CQC requirements.
- Provide detailed feedback to the Care Manager on areas of concern or improvement identified during visits and reviews.
- An understanding and being compliant in the EMAR (Electronic Medication Administration Record) system,
- Complete medication competency assessments.
- Oversee and update data information
- Oversee Care Certificate completion for new and existing care staff.
- Support staff in achieving Dove Home Care’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the on-call roster, providing support and guidance outside of standard working hours as required.
Requirements:
- Level 2/ 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (essential).
- Strong knowledge of CQC requirements and regulatory standards.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a field-based role.
