Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive foot health assessments and diagnose common podiatric conditions
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, including advice on footwear, orthotics, and hygiene practices
- Perform routine podiatric procedures such as nail trimming, callus removal, and wound care with precision and care
- Educate patients on foot health maintenance, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations
- Communicate clearly with patients to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and aftercare instructions
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed to ensure holistic patient care
Experience
- Proven experience as a Podiatrist or Foot Health Practitioner with a strong understanding of foot anatomy and common conditions
- Excellent communication skills in English to effectively educate and engage with patients of diverse backgrounds
- Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping, appointment scheduling, and patient communication
- Experience in teaching or mentoring patients about foot health practices is highly desirable
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of care and professionalism
