Job Overview
Sussex Door Company LTD is looking for a reliable, organised and hard-working Installations Coordinator to support the smooth running of our installation operations. This is a hands-on role involving preparation of paperwork and documents, stock control, yard management, supplier communication, and practical support for installers when required.
The successful candidate will play a key part in making sure our installation teams have the correct materials, parts, documents and support needed to complete jobs efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare paperwork, job packs, documents and materials required for the following day’s installations.
· Control, monitor and manage stock levels to ensure installers have the correct parts and materials available.
· Check incoming products and deliveries for damage, accuracy, quality and correct details before accepting or allocating stock.
· Maintain the yard, keeping it organised, tidy and safe at all times.
· Manage rubbish removal and ensure waste areas are kept under control.
· Contact suppliers to source parts, replacements and materials as required.
· Support installers by driving out to sites when needed and dropping off goods, parts or materials.
· Assist with moving heavy items and handling materials safely and responsibly.
· Work closely with the installations team to resolve issues quickly and keep jobs running smoothly.
· Maintain accurate records relating to stock, supplier orders, incoming deliveries, product checks and installation preparation.
Essential Requirements
· Full, clean UK driving licence.
· Physically strong and capable of safely moving heavy objects and materials.
· Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead.
· Strong work ethic with a reliable, proactive and hands-on attitude.
· Good communication skills, especially when dealing with suppliers, installers and colleagues.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy working environment.
· Confidence using basic paperwork, documents and stock records.
· Willingness to support the wider team wherever needed.
