Summary
Site Supervisor (Grade C)
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated Site Supervisor to join our site team. The Site Supervisor role is essential in ensuring that the school environment remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for pupils, staff, and visitors. This role also requires a reliable and safety-conscious individual to provide essential services for the school. The post holder will be required to work from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and 10:30 AM to 6:00 PM on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities Site Supervisor:
- Supervise and coordinate cleaning staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Work collaboratively with the site team to ensure the school buildings and grounds are well maintained.
- Carry out minor repairs and general maintenance tasks, such as replacing light bulbs, fixing door handles, and unblocking sinks.
- Ensure the effective operation of heating, lighting, and security systems.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including clearing pathways, managing waste disposal, and ensuring playgrounds and car parks are safe.
- Manage stock levels and ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are replenished as needed.
- Act as a key holder, responsible for securing the premises and responding to any emergencies.
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, including COSHH requirements.
- Support with deep cleaning and site maintenance during school closures or holiday periods.
This role requires a strong team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high standard of site management.
The successful candidate will work closely with the premises and wider school team, ensuring efficient services and contributing to the smooth day-to-day operation of the school.
