Independent Contractor Opportunity
Medispec Ltd is looking to expand its network of Clinical Psychology Experts to support the preparation of psychological evidence in personal injury and civil litigation matters.
We are interested in hearing from HCPC-registered Clinical Psychologists who would like to undertake assessment work on a flexible basis. Assignments can be accepted around existing NHS, private practice, teaching, or consultancy commitments, allowing complete control over workload and scheduling.
The Opportunity
Successful applicants will be invited to join our nationwide expert panel and may receive instructions for psychological assessments involving individuals presenting with trauma-related and other psychological symptoms.
Most consultations are conducted remotely, although occasional face-to-face appointments may be required. Clinic facilities can be arranged and provided by Medispec where necessary.

Candidate Profile
Applications are welcomed from Clinical Psychologists who possess:
- Current HCPC registration
- Valid professional indemnity cover
- Active ICO registration
- Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last 36 months
- Knowledge of PTSD, psychological trauma, anxiety, depression and related presentations
- Strong interviewing and report-writing abilities
Advantageous Experience
Although not essential, preference may be given to candidates with:
- Previous medico-legal involvement
- Experience acting as an expert witness
- Familiarity with personal injury assessments
- Experience preparing professional psychological reports
