About Us
We are looking for a hard-working, enthusiastic Chef to join our busies and most popular Going Greek restaurant in Colindale. Situated in the bustling High Street with both indoor and Al Fresco seating options, we offer freshly cooked authentic Greek food at affordable prices. The successful candidate will be a crucial member of our fun and friendly team with experience of working in a high-volume kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Under instruction of the Head Chef, prepare and cook all food items in a timely manner.
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications.
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Restock items as needed throughout the shift.
- Prepare and pack food orders for takeaway and delivery services.
- Recording food temperatures.
- Adhere to all food hygiene and safety standards.
- Full-time 35-40 hours per week and Part-Time 15-20 hours per week roles available.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Chef.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
- Available to work shifts as per the weekly rota.
- Customer focused with a polite and friendly persona.
- Strong team work ethic.
- Able to remain calm under pressurised working conditions.
