Anthony Lloyd Fine Furniture Makers is a small, passionate team specialising in high-quality bespoke furniture. We’re looking for a new team member to join us — someone with hands-on experience who’s ready to work on initiative, refine their skills and grow in a supportive, skilled environment.
About the Role
You’ll work closely with experienced makers on a variety of bespoke projects. You’ll be involved in all stages of furniture making — from assembly and joinery to finishing — ensuring each piece meets our exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble furniture using hand and power tools
- Fabricate custom pieces to design specifications
- Carry out traditional joinery techniques
- Operate machinery and maintain a safe, tidy workspace
- Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot and refine processes
Skills & Experience
- Practical experience in furniture making or woodworking
- Confidence with tools, machines, and traditional joinery techniques
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Physically fit and capable of lifting/moving materials
- A team player with a strong work ethic
- Eagerness to learn and improve

Pay: £13.00-£20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ware SG12 8HH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- woodworking/ cabinetry/ joinery: 2 years (preferred)
