Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical and electrical issues
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems
- Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and replacements
- Diagnose electrical faults using specialised diagnostic equipment and rectify issues accordingly
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely when handling parts or components
- Keep detailed records of all work carried out in accordance with company procedures
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Physical capability for heavy lifting and working in various positions (standing, bending, kneeling)
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent are preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: £26,025.66-£45,055.38 per year
