We are seeking a motivated and skilled Plumber/Heating Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across various commercial and residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that all systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably. Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair plumbing fixtures, piping, and heating systems in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications
- Conduct routine inspections to identify issues with plumbing or heating equipment and perform necessary maintenance or replacements
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete projects efficiently and accurately
- Diagnose mechanical problems using mechanical knowledge and basic math skills to determine appropriate solutions
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while adhering to health and safety regulations
- Read blueprints, technical drawings, or schematics to guide installation or repair work
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project
Requirements
- Level 2/3 Plumbing & Heating
- Gas qualifications/Gas Safe registration
- Air Source Heat Pump qualifications
- Unvented hot water qualification
- Proven experience in plumbing, heating systems installation, or repair work in commercial or residential environments
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for commercial driving responsibilities when required
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues quickly and accurately
