Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fencer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading various construction, maintenance, and installation projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the successful completion of diverse projects across multiple sites. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Wage will be skill and experience dependant.
Responsibilities
- Be confident in leading a team of people from job start to completion.
- Communicate effectively and efficiently with office staff to ensure smooth project running.
- Operate hand tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area throughout the project duration.
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of hoarding, fencing, railings, metal work and much more.
Requirements
- Proven experience in fencing is essential.
- Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks for extended periods.
- Good organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork ethic and effective communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to the construction industry.
- Valid UK driving licence is essential.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality in all tasks undertaken.
- Must hold a valid and in date CSCS Card as without this you are not able to work on the sites we attend.
Pay: £12.71-£23.00 per hour
