Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to join our team and make a positive difference in the lives of those in our care. Responsibilities
- Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times
- Support the implementation and review of individual care plans tailored to each person's needs and preferences
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with residents, family members, healthcare professionals, and team members
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update records regularly
- Drive or accompany clients on errands or appointments as needed, ensuring safe transportation and adherence to schedules
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety protocols and reporting any concerns promptly
- Contribute to a warm, friendly atmosphere by engaging in meaningful conversations and activities that promote well-being
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents, families, and colleagues
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care records
- Valid driving license is preferred for roles involving transportation duties
- Knowledge of care plans and understanding of person-centered approaches to support individuals’ needs

Pay: £13.00-£15.20 per hour
