Excelerate is a leading provider of advanced technology and communications solutions for emergency services, government agencies, and critical sectors. We’re looking for a hands-on, motivated Trainee Installation Engineer to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated, organised individual who is eager to learn to join our team.
The Role
You'll support the installation and commissioning of communication, network, and AV systems in vehicles and buildings. This includes:
- Running and terminating cabling (network, coax, AV, data)
- Installing server rack and IT equipment
- Setting up software and basic computer networks
- Supporting delivery from start to finish
You’ll Need
- Hands on tool skills
- Basic knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware and operating systems
- Full UK driving licence
- Flexible team player with customer focused “can do” attitude
- Willingness to travel with overnight stays
- Willingness to work at height using access equipment
