We are currently seeking an experienced LEEA engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and inspections on a variety of lifting equipment including Material lifts, Chain hoists, Portable handling and Mobile gantry's.
Hours of work - Monday to Friday 7.30 am – 5.00 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on lifting equipment using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Diagnose faults in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work, support on-site breakdowns, and collaborate with the workshop team.
What you’ll need to succeed for this LEEA Engineer role:
- Previous experience as similar position
- Qualifications as NVQ, IPAF and LEEA is desirable but not essential
- A passion for service
- Excellent problem-solving skills and physical fitness
- Approachable and the ability to work in a team
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
