Summary
Part-time position 16-20 hours plus holiday cover. As a Chef, you will be at the heart of our culinary operations, responsible for food preparation, cooking, and ensuring food safety standards are met. Working with our Head Chef and small kitchen team, you will bring your culinary experience and skills to create exceptional dishes. Your ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively will enhance our kitchen's efficiency. With a focus on quality and team working, you will contribute to a positive dining experience for our guests and uphold the high standards of our restaurant.
Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the kitchen team, ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with Head Chef and restaurant management to develop strategies for improving overall kitchen performance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant or culinary establishment
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Solid understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations
