Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various destinations.The work is Monday to Friday with weekends available as a overtimes .
This is a tramper role , and drivers will be expected to overnight in the units but more likely is as occasionnal nights out then full week away from depot .
This is a great opportunity for someone with sea containers , semi trailers and curtain side trailers experience who enjoys being on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- Transport goods and materials to designated location
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance
- Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license HGV Class 1 with a clean driving record
- Proven experience as a truck driver minimum 2 years will be advantage
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- ADR trained will be an advantage and extra PAY
- ports excess cards will be advantage
