Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Overhead Crane Operator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate overhead cranes to safely and efficiently move steel products and materials within our facility. Your expertise will help maintain smooth warehouse operations, support shipping and receiving processes, and uphold our commitment to safety and quality.
OVERHEAD CRANE OPERATOR
Unwrapping of all steel coils and ensuring allocated to correct storage bays
Allocation of material to specified jobs
Responsible for the feeding of the coils to the Decoiling lines
Ensuring that all necessary paperwork is carried out
Completing the necessary information on I Metal systems /Stock control
MUST:
- Understand Quality Management System IS09001
- Have Health and Safety awareness and knowledge of working in a heavy industrial environment.
- Have a current Overhead Crane Licence.
Pay: £13.20 per hour
Expected hours: 47.5 – 55.0 per week
