The opportunity
JNJ is one of the UK’s fastest-growing automotive wrapping and vehicle protection companies.
We specialise in premium Paint Protection Film, stealth PPF transformations, ceramic coatings and vehicle protection for Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Range Rover, BMW M, Mercedes-AMG, Audi RS and other high-value vehicles.
We invest heavily in marketing and generate a consistent flow of warm inbound enquiries from customers who are already considering protecting or transforming their vehicles.
We are looking for a proven salesperson who wants to master high-ticket consultative selling, consistently close premium customers and become one of the highest-performing people in the business.
This is not an entry-level role, a passive showroom position or an order-taking job.
What you will sell
Our services typically range from approximately £1,900 to £6,000+, including:
- Front Impact PPF
- Track Pack PPF
- Full Car Gloss PPF
- Full Stealth PPF transformations
- Colour-change PPF
- Ceramic coatings
- Wheel, windscreen and interior protection
- Relevant upgrades and aftercare services
Full technical and product training will be provided. You must already understand how to sell.
What the role involves
You will take ownership of every opportunity from the first conversation through to the deposit, confirmed booking and successful handover into operations.
You will:
- Respond quickly to warm inbound enquiries
- Run detailed discovery calls
- Understand the customer’s vehicle, usage, concerns and motivation
- Recommend the most suitable protection package
- Explain JNJ’s quality, process, warranty and aftercare
- Communicate value clearly without relying on discounts
- Handle objections around price, timing, trust and competitors
- Follow up consistently by phone, WhatsApp, email and CRM
- Re-engage older leads and unconverted quotations
- Ask confidently for the booking and deposit
- Increase order value through relevant, customer-led upgrades
- Keep all conversations, objections and next actions recorded accurately
- Review your calls and improve your conversion performance
- Work closely with the General Manager after every confirmed sale
Our sales approach
We do not want someone who sends a price and waits.
Before recommending anything, you will understand:
- Why the customer made the enquiry
- How they use their vehicle
- What they want to protect or transform
- What happened with their previous vehicle
- What concerns they have
- What alternatives they are considering
- What is preventing them from deciding
- What matters to them beyond price
- What a successful result looks like
You will then diagnose the right solution, explain the value and lead the customer confidently towards a decision.
This is consultative selling, not pressure selling.
The customer should feel understood, advised and confident they have made the right choice.
High-performance sales culture
This role is for someone committed to becoming exceptional at sales.
You will be expected to:
- Review recorded sales calls
- Complete regular objection-handling roleplays
- Analyse where sales were won or lost
- Improve your discovery questions
- Study customer psychology and buying motives
- Track conversion rate, revenue and follow-up performance
- Accept direct coaching without becoming defensive
- Take responsibility for your numbers
- Continually improve your communication and closing ability
We are not looking for someone who believes they have nothing left to learn.
We want someone who is hungry, competitive, coachable and serious about mastering the craft.
Sales-to-operations handover
The sale does not end when the deposit is taken.
You will build a strong working relationship with the General Manager and ensure every customer is handed over properly.
For every booking, you must accurately communicate:
- Vehicle and customer details
- Exact service and coverage sold
- Agreed price, deposit and balance
- Customer goals and reasons for buying
- Concerns and expectations
- Promises made during the sales process
- Drop-off and collection expectations
- Communication preferences
- Risks, sensitivities and special instructions
- Relevant future upgrade opportunities
Complex or high-value bookings must be personally discussed with the General Manager.
A customer should never have to repeat their story after booking. Operations should know exactly what was sold, why the customer bought it and what a successful outcome looks like.
You are responsible for winning the customer’s trust, securing the sale and handing that trust over properly to the General Manager.
What success looks like
You will be successful when:
- New enquiries are contacted quickly
- Customers receive proper discovery conversations
- Qualified leads consistently become booked jobs
- Follow-ups are completed without leads being forgotten
- Deposits are secured consistently
- Average order value increases
- Monthly revenue targets are achieved
- CRM records are complete and accurate
- Customers feel advised rather than pressured
- Confirmed bookings are handed over correctly
- Operations receives complete and accurate job information
- There are no avoidable problems caused by incorrect promises
- Sales and operations work together as one team
How you will be measured
Your performance will be measured through:
- Speed to lead
- Contact rate
- Qualified conversations
- Quote-to-deposit conversion
- Follow-up completion
- Average order value
- Monthly booked revenue
- Completed revenue
- CRM accuracy
- Cancellation rate
- Quality of operational handovers
- Customer experience
You will be judged on execution and results, not effort alone.

- Disciplined with CRM and pipeline management
- Emotionally controlled under pressure
