The role
As an Emerging Talent Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in developing the next generation of talent across our graduate and apprenticeship programmes.
Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:
Supporting a dedicated caseload of apprentices and graduates throughout their programme journey.
Managing performance, welfare, placement rotations and development activities to help emerging talent succeed.
Partnering with line managers and training providers to monitor progress and ensure programme requirements are met.
Coordinating recruitment and selection activities for new apprentices and graduates.
Delivering outreach, community engagement and behavioural development initiatives to promote careers in engineering, defence and aerospace.
This role is based at Rosyth. You will work 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday with a half day on Friday. Hybrid working patterns are available.
Essential experience of the Emerging Talent Advisor:
Experience in talent acquisition, human resources, learning and development, or a related people-focused function.
Understanding of apprenticeship and graduate programme delivery.
Awareness of Scottish education systems, levels, qualifications available and career routes
Strong communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Experience analysing information and translating insights into practical actions that improve outcomes
Qualifications for the Emerging Talent Advisor:
Educated to a level that demonstrates the ability to perform successfully within a people development, learning, education or human resources environment.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
