An exciting opportunity has arisen at Oaklands for a proactive and professional Learner Engagement Executive with a proven track record in delivering high customer engagement with prospective students but also engaging with referral sources such as JCPs, charities and employers, providing advice and guidance to individuals, and who can lead, develop and realise the conversion of potential learners into actual enrolment across Hertfordshire contacts. To realise our planned growth and customer relations, in person visits to external premises are a requirement; to present and inform staff and candidates of course offerings will be a key component of the role.
The role will be leading the coordination and management of learner’s enrolments to ensure efficient and responsive onboarding of learners. Building relationships with these individuals during their programme to provide ongoing support and advice throughout their learning journey. You should be comfortable with volumes of enrolments completing documentation to comply to the funding rules and be competent in data returns.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with JCPs, third sector organisations and other referral partners to identify people who could benefit from our programmes, across Hertfordshire and our other delivery locations.
Implementing & Leading Open Events that inform and capture prospective learners and educate employers and referral organisations to fully understand the offering.
Regular attendance at JCPs and other referral sources to engage with prospective individuals and promote Oaklands Adult Employability & ESOL provision/upcoming courses.
Research and build relationships with new referral sources to increase learner referrals.
Responsible for maintaining the learner enrolment tracker and monitoring the dedicated mailbox to provide swift responses to emails.
Build relationships and ongoing communication with learners that they can raise queries or issues to you. Communication methods could be face to face, email, phone, or text.
Coordinate and lead on learner enrolments ensuring the right eligible learners are enrolled onto the programme including completion of enrolment form and collecting right to work evidence per individual in line with the KPIs.
Provide ongoing support and advice throughout the entire learner journey – from initial enrolment through to course completion, including any onward learning advice into employment/outcomes.
Support and guidance for individuals to be successful in achieving a recognised outcome such as support in job searching, careers events, signposting to the College Careers Advisors.
Have an awareness of compliance regarding enrolments and onboarding.
Experience in completing data returns for an educational provision.
Maintain and complete records in the college CRM system and record engagement.
Establish and maintain excellent internal working relationships with all stakeholders.
Attend external networking events, and college events as needed.
Provide an effective and efficient administrative support to the Employability, ESOL & Adult Manager.
Preparing and creating documents, as relevant.
Be aware of and follow College policies and procedures, with particular attention to health and safety, safeguarding, risk management, equality and diversity, quality and our values and behaviours. You will be required to attend training as necessary and update own CPD record.

Experience and Qualifications
Level 2 IAG qualification.
Experience of learner enrolments and being the key contact for learners.
Experience of data returns for an educational provision.
Ability to work flexibility to meet the needs of students and stakeholders.
Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Teams, CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
Strong customer service experience.
Evidence of external involvement with other colleges or organisations and sharing of best practice.
Evidence of successful implementation of bootcamp delivery.
