Job Summary
Infinity Eng Ltd is seeking a self-employed SHEQ Advisor to support one of our clients across a range of UK-based projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced SHEQ professional looking to develop their experience within a practical, site-focused environment. A longer-term contract may be available for the right person.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance checks
- Provide practical health, safety, environmental and quality advice
- Support the preparation and review of RAMS
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
- Maintain SHEQ records, reports and action trackers
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Help ensure compliance with legislation, client procedures and site requirements
- Work closely with site teams to promote a positive safety culture
Requirements
- NEBOSH and/or IOSH qualification
- Knowledge of UK health and safety legislation
- Strong communication and report-writing skills
- Confident working independently and engaging with site teams
- Willingness to travel to projects across the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Relevant CSCS card is desirable
- Previous construction or utilities experience is desirable but not essential
Contract details
- Self-employed contractor position
- Outside IR35, subject to individual assessment and working arrangements
- UK-wide travel
- Competitive day rate, dependent on experience
- Longer-term contract opportunity for the right person
