We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimise our organisation’s procurement processes and supply chain operations. About Us
We are a growing printing and packaging company supplying high-quality printed products, packaging, labels, marketing materials, and bespoke print solutions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to strengthen our purchasing and supplier management functions.
The Role
You will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, controlling stock levels, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials required for production. This is a key role focused on maintaining quality, cost efficiency, and reliable supply across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement & Supply Chain
- Manage purchasing from supplier sourcing through to delivery.
- Source paper, card, packaging materials, inks, labels, laminates, adhesives, and other print consumables.
- Ensure materials are available to meet production schedules and customer deadlines.
- Monitor stock levels and plan reorders based on demand and lead times.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage supply risks.
Supplier Management
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, lead times, payment terms, and service agreements.
- Review supplier performance and resolve supply-related issues.
- Source and onboard new suppliers to improve pricing and service.
Operations & Inventory
- Work closely with production, warehouse, estimating, and finance teams.
- Support stock control, inventory accuracy, and material planning.
- Coordinate deliveries, collections, imports, and exports where required.
About You
- Previous experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
- Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
- Commercially minded with strong attention to detail.
- Experience within printing, packaging, manufacturing, or a related industry is desirable.
