Kai Mayfair is a well-established Michelin starred restaurant in the heart of Mayfair in its 27 years of business and has held its Michelin Star since 2009. We are ranked as the Best Chinese restaurant in UK by the Sunday Times in 2014 and in the Top 10 for all London restaurants for food.
Our style of cooking is ‘Liberated Chinese’ – respectful of tradition but not bound by them.

THE POSITION
- An opportunity to work in a long standing Michelin starred kitchen at the forefront of evolving Chinese cooking by combining traditional Chinese flavours with innovative cooking techniques.
- Being very much a part of the creation of the menu with our collaborative approach to menu development.
- The chef de partie position will require you to work in the cold larder section/steam/deep fryer and roast sections
- Knife skills are essential as a chef de partie
- Experience in Asian cooking is an advantage but not a requirement.
- Opportunity to learn a new cuisine at the highest level.
- Having previous commis chef experience in a busy fine dining restaurant is preferred.
- As a chef de partie you will be working up to 55 hours / week
