An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join the expanding Medicine/Gastro Service at George Eliot Hospital.
Applications are welcome from Band 2/3 Therapy Assistants or healthcare practitioners with an interest in supporting patients in rehabilitation and discharge.
This role requires flexibility, empathy and adaptability, as this role requires supporting therapists with their caseload on the wards as well as classes.

In joining this team you will have the opportunity to be a part of the service development within Medicine/Gastro and be part of the Therapy Team delivering care across the speciality and supporting other areas as required
The successful candidate will join a Team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, who work alongside a wider MDT including Consultants, Physician Associates and Advanced Clinical Practitioners.
The postholder may be required to work across 7 days, to meet the needs of the therapy services.
