Foxhills Pallets Ltd is looking for an experienced Pallet Fixer & Grader to join our growing team.
We are looking for someone who already has experience working within the pallet industry and can confidently inspect, grade, repair and sort pallets to the correct standardwhile working at a good pace.
The Role
Your duties will include:
- Repairing wooden pallets to a high and consistent standard
- Grading pallets accurately by size, type and condition
- Identifying pallets that are repairable, reusable or beyond economical repair
- Using pallet repair tools, nail guns and other relevant equipment safely
- Replacing damaged boards and blocks
- Sorting and stacking finished pallets correctly
- Maintaining good productivity while ensuring quality standards are met
- Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe
- Assisting with general yard duties when required
What We're Looking For
Previous pallet fixing and grading experience is essential.
You should be:
- Confident grading different pallet types and specifications
- Experienced in repairing pallets independently
- Comfortable using pneumatic nail guns and pallet repair equipment
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently in a busy yard environment
- Quality-focused while maintaining a good work rate
- Health and safety conscious
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Forklift experience
This position is specifically for an experienced pallet fixer/grader, so previous pallet industry experience is required.
Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
