Salary: £17.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Our client is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef Manager to lead the kitchen team within a friendly care home environment. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about preparing nutritious,high-quality meals while leading a team and maintaining excellent food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Prepare and serve fresh,nutritious meals to a high standard.

Plan staff rotas and supervise the kitchen team.

Manage stock levels,place food orders,and minimise waste.

Ensure compliance with Food Safety,HACCP,COSHH,and Health & Safety regulations.

Complete all required kitchen documentation and audits.

Maintain exceptional hygiene and cleanliness standards.

Train and support staff in food safety and allergen awareness.

Create a welcoming dining experience for residents and visitors.
About You
-
Previous experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef,ideally within a care home,healthcare,or hospitality setting.

Strong leadership,organisational,and communication skills.

Excellent knowledge of food hygiene,allergen management,and kitchen compliance.

Passionate about delivering high-quality meals and outstanding service.

Able to motivate,support,and develop a successful kitchen team.
