Overview:
Root Restaurants are modern, veg-led, sharing plates restaurants sitting both on the banks of Bristol’s harbour on Wapping Wharf, and in the heart of Wells. Opening in 2017, owners Josh Eggleton (The Pony) and Luke Hasell (The Story Farms / Valleyfest) wanted to create forward-thinking restaurants that champion local suppliers and producers, and led with a 'more veg, less meat' ethos.
After the success of Root Bristol, Head Chef Rob Howell and Group Manager Meg Oakley wanted to bring a neighbourhood restaurant to their home town, Wells. You’ll find the restaurant situated in the heart of the city, just a stones throw from the Cathedral.
We have now been operating in our newest restaurant Root Bath for 6 months, in the newly redeveloped Shire's Yard, where we've established ourselves as one of Bath's most exciting new restaurants.
As we head into Summer, we are looking to fill a part time Front of House position to support the rest of the team in service.
The ideal candidates will have previous experience working in a restaurant or bar location - with a good knowledge of hospitality, a casual, fun, yet professional approach to service, and a willingness to learn and develop as part of an experienced team. Whilst experience is preferred, all applicants will be considered in line with our equal opportunities policy.
Our service is all about effortlessly getting the details right, so a keen eye and a proactive style is key to this role. We value individuality, common sense, creativity, warmth and a passion for great hospitality.
Weekend availability is a must.
Pay: From £12.50 per hour
