Duties
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring they feel welcomed and attended to promptly
- Manage incoming calls, direct enquiries efficiently, and take accurate messages when necessary
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it remains professional and presentable at all times
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, scheduling appointments, and managing correspondence
- Support office operations by ordering supplies, coordinating post/mail distribution, and maintaining office equipment
- Assist with basic bookkeeping or invoicing tasks as needed to support the administrative and accounts team
- Liaise with team members to ensure smooth communication and an efficient workflow throughout the organisation
Skills and Experience
- Proven office experience demonstrating strong organisational skills and professionalism
- Previous administrative experience is desirable for handling varied office tasks effectively
- Basic knowledge or previous experience of working within an accounting or professional services environment is preferred, though not essential
- Excellent communication skills — friendly, clear, and confident in person and over the phone
- Good IT skills, with confident use of Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Languages
- Fluent English is essential for this role
- Punjabi and/or Hindi language skills are preferable, though not essential
