Job Summary
We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Loss Prevention Officer to safeguard our premises, staff, and assets. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring activities through , conducting regular patrols, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Responsibilities
- Monitor premises continuously to identify suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorised access.
- Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and security breaches for management records.
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, providing first aid if necessary until professional help arrives.
- Enforce company policies regarding security procedures and ensure staff compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies.
- Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks.
- Assist in developing and implementing security protocols and training programmes for staff.
Requirements
- Proven experience in, security operations, or loss prevention roles is desirable.
- Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
- First aid certification or the ability to provide basic first aid in emergency situations.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail and situational awareness.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies.
- Good organisational skills and the capacity to follow established procedures diligently.
- Physical fitness suitable for patrolling large areas and responding quickly when needed.
