Olicana Products Ltd is currently looking for a welder to join our busy team in a very established business. This is a permanent position, we have great working conditions, overtime is available, and we pay a twice-yearly bonus.
Applicants must be :
- Proficient in MIG & TIG Welding small fabrications.
- Experience in Welding tube & plate.
- Ability to grind, polish and finish to a high standard.
- Reliable & hard working.
- All work is jigged, making varied & interesting products
Job Type: Permanent Full-time (Flexible hours considered)
Salary : From £14.50 - £15.50 per hour plus dependent on experience; Overtime & Bonus available. Overtime paid at 1.33 x for first 5 hours / 1.5 x thereafter.
Working Hours: Mon – Thurs – 07.30am to 16.15 / Fri 07.30am to 12.45pm
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and TIG welding tasks according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment proficiently.
- Fabricate and assemble sheet metal and tube components accurately.
- Demonstrate expertise in TIG welding and stick welding techniques.
- Apply mechanical knowledge and basic math skills in welding processes.
- Ensure quality control and precision in welding and assembly tasks.
