Darlington Learning and Skills Service is a highly performing adult and community learning provider. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and committed professional to promote work placements and secure employers for our 16-18 Study Programme and Apprenticeships as well as promote and maintain attendance of learners in education.
We are looking for someone who can work with young people aged 16-19 along with adult learners and apprentices too.
As part of the team, you will have a key role to play in developing, coordinating and supporting work placements to meet the needs of our learners and sourcing employers for apprenticeship opportunities.
You will develop employer engagement placements to inspire learners to undertake and increase participation in vocationally focused work placements. Your role will also include monitoring and reporting on learner attendance at both work placements and in their education setting.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working with a wide range of learners, including the most vulnerable, who enjoys working on their own initiative and as part of a team.
