P C Kelly Plumbing & Heating is a long-established, family-run business specialising in commercial plumbing, heating and air conditioning installations across the UK. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, we are looking for an experienced Commercial Plumbing & Gas Engineer to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working on a wide variety of commercial projects.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation of commercial plumbing and heating systems on projects including:
- Commercial plant rooms
- Boiler installations and replacements
- Press-fit steel, copper and Mapress pipework
- Commercial gas installations
- Heating distribution systems
- Hot and cold water services
- Pumps, valves and associated plant
- Commercial drainage systems
- Schools, care homes, industrial premises, offices and public buildings
- Mechanical refurbishment and new-build projects
You'll work alongside experienced engineers delivering projects to the highest standards of workmanship and safety.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Proven experience installing commercial plumbing and heating systems
- Strong knowledge of commercial plant room installations
- Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 or equivalent)
- Experience with copper, carbon steel and press-fit systems
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Excellent workmanship and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable:
- IPAF
- PASMA
- CSCS / Skill Card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Experience with commercial water heaters
- Welding or brazing experience
- Experience working on schools, hospitals or care homes
