Overview
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering outstanding early years education and care, supporting children’s development, and acting as a role model for junior practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
-Take responsibility for a group of key children, observing, assessing, and recording their progress to inform planning and share with parents/carers
-Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment that promotes children’s independence, curiosity, and confidence
-Support children’s personal, social, and emotional development, ensuring their individual needs are met
-Lead by example, mentoring and supporting Level 2 practitioners, apprentices, and volunteers
-Build strong, professional relationships with parents/carers, providing regular updates and guidance on their child’s development
-Ensure safeguarding, health, and safety policies are consistently followed
-Contribute to the continuous improvement of the setting, including curriculum planning and quality standards
Qualifications & Skills:
-Level 3 Diploma/Certificate in Childcare or Early Years Education (or equivalent)
-Strong knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework
-Proven experience working in an early years setting
-Excellent communication and leadership skills
-Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently when required
-Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Working Hours & Salary:
-Full time or part time hours available (depending on setting needs)
