Reporting to our Supply Chain Manager, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Customer Service Partner to join our team.
To be successful in this role, you will be customer-focused, highly organised and commercially aware, with excellent attention to detail. You will be confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders, comfortable working with data and systems, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also be willing and keen to learn, adaptable to change and a strong team player.
The position requires flexibility to work Monday - Thursday backshift (2pm–10pm) and Friday dayshift. Shift allowance will also be included.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to customers, clients and suppliers, responding to queries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate support, solutions and accurate, timely quotations.
- Work closely with Sales and internal stakeholders to support sales development and deliver a proactive customer experience.
- Create and maintain Work Orders, purchase orders and accurate customer records.
- Accurately process and maintain data across CRM, MRP and ERP systems, including customer information and progress dates.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, Sales and internal stakeholders.
- Support customer account management through trend analysis, forecasting and monitoring of Customer Service KPIs and satisfaction.
- Act as a point of contact for global Customer Service Administrators, providing guidance, training and coaching.
- Support the continuous improvement of Customer Service processes, procedures and work instructions.
- Escalate customer complaints appropriately and in line with company policy.
- Support Sales during customer visits, providing exceptional service and commercial support.
- Ensure company processes and procedures are followed consistently, maintaining accuracy and accountability.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer-facing or customer service role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong data entry and administrative skills, with confidence using multiple systems.
- Experience with quotations, pricing or commercial support would be advantageous.
- Strong relationship-building skills with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise workload, manage competing demands and meet deadlines.
- Positive, flexible and proactive approach, with a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
- Experience supporting, mentoring or coaching colleagues would be advantageous.
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering, electronics or supply chain would be beneficial.
