We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Temporary Cleaner to support our manufacturing and foundry operations. This role is responsible for maintaining suitable standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the site, helping to ensure a safe and efficient working environment for all employees.
This is a hands-on position in an industrial setting and would suit someone who takes pride in their work, can work independently, and is comfortable working in a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning and maintaining production areas, walkways, welfare facilities, and offices.
Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors.
Emptying bins and disposing of waste in accordance with site procedures.
Assisting with general housekeeping tasks across the foundry and factory.
Ensuring cleaning materials and equipment are stored safely.
Adhering to all health, safety, and environmental procedures.
Reporting any hazards, spillages, or maintenance issues to the relevant supervisor.
About You
The successful candidate will:
Be reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
Have a positive attitude and good attention to detail.
Be capable of carrying out physically demanding work.
Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Have previous industrial cleaning experience (desirable but not essential).
Understand the importance of health and safety within a manufacturing environment.
Immediate start available.
Hours: Monday to Thursday - 7 am to 4 pm
Please note: Due to the nature of the foundry environment, this role involves exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures. Appropriate PPE will be provided and must be worn at all times.
