Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our caring team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care tailored to individual resident needs, fostering a supportive environment, and leading by example. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing assessments and develop personalized care plans that address physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately, adhering to all safety protocols and regulatory standards.
- Lead and support care staff by providing guidance, mentorship, and leadership to ensure consistent delivery of quality care.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and address concerns proactively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress, incidents, and care activities in compliance with legal requirements.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in nursing care.
- Promote a positive team environment that encourages collaboration, respect, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse qualification with current registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Proven experience in nursing within a care home or similar healthcare setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and infection control procedures.
