Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Roofers Labourer/Improver. This role involves supporting roofing projects through various manual tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of site operations. Responsibilities
- Assisting roofers with the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.
- Handling and operating hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Supporting the preparation of work sites by organising materials and setting up ladders.
- Performing lifting tasks to move materials such as tiles, sheets, or insulation components.
- Ensuring all work areas are kept clean and safe in compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- a minimum of one year's experience in construction or roofing is essential; willingness to learn is key.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, etc. is desirable.
- Ability to perform lifting safely and work at heights when required.
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Physical fitness and stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety standards on site.
