The Potting Shed cafe, located inside Oaktree Garden Centre is looking for a Chef to join our team in a fast paced and fun kitchen where we serve a variety of food to a high standard.

A huge benefit to the role is no evening work is required as the hours are 8am - 4/5pm Friday - Tuesday (Wednesday / Thursday off)
What we are looking for:
- At least one year experience
- A hardworking and dedicated individual
- A team player with a positive attitude
- A passion for food with high standards
- Good timing and presentation
- Works well under pressure
- Awareness of food hygiene and allergens (preferred, but training is available)
- Ability to reliably commute
Key responsibilities:
- working together with the kitchen team to prepare and deliver food to a high standard and in a timely manner.
- Setting up and clearing down before and after service, ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy.
- maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen, operating in a tidy as you go manner.
- Working closely with the management and front of house team to ensure the smooth running of the business.
