Full-Time Warehouse Operative – GK Prep LTD
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:30am – 4:30pm
Employment: Full-Time / Permanent
Location: GK Prep LTD, Dereham area
Working days: No regular weekend work
GK Prep LTD is a growing e-commerce preparation and fulfilment centre specialising in preparing products for online sellers, particularly businesses selling through Amazon.
As we continue to grow and take on more clients, we're looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our small team on a full-time basis.
This isn't a traditional warehouse role where you'll spend the entire day picking the same products or completing one repetitive task. You'll be involved in different parts of the preparation and fulfilment process and will be trained on how our systems and processes work.
Previous warehouse experience would be a big advantage, and we're particularly interested in someone who is comfortable using computers.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Receiving and checking deliveries arriving at the warehouse
- Booking stock into our warehouse management system
- Using computers, barcode scanners and warehouse software
- Preparing products to meet Amazon FBA requirements
- Picking products from warehouse shelving
- Packing products securely into shipping boxes
- Weighing and measuring completed boxes
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks as required
Accuracy is extremely important. We process stock belonging to multiple different businesses, so products must be correctly identified, labelled, prepared and allocated to the right client.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable
We need someone we can depend on to arrive on time and be ready to work consistently Monday to Friday.
Comfortable with computers
You don't need to be an IT expert, but you should be confident using a computer, web-based systems and learning new software.
Warehouse experienced
Previous experience working in a warehouse, fulfilment centre, stock room, e-commerce business or similar environment would be preferred.
Accurate and organised
Small mistakes can cause significant problems when preparing Amazon shipments, so attention to detail is one of the most important parts of the job.
Able to work independently
Once trained, you'll be expected to confidently complete normal warehouse tasks without needing constant supervision.
Comfortable with physical work
The role involves being on your feet, moving stock, packing boxes, working at packing benches and occasionally handling heavier parcels.
Willing to learn
You don't need previous Amazon FBA experience. We'll teach you our processes and systems, but we're looking for someone who can learn them and become confident using them.

EXPERIENCE
Preferred:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience using computers at work
Not essential:
Previous Amazon FBA experience.
If you've never worked with Amazon shipments before, that's absolutely fine. We're more interested in finding someone reliable, organised and comfortable learning our systems.
