Digital Marketing & Content Executive
We’re looking for a Digital Marketing & Content Executive to join the Domus Marketing team.
Working within architecture and design, this is a varied, creative role with plenty of scope to bring your own ideas to the table. You could be interviewing a designer about a newly completed project one day, developing an Instagram series the next, or spotting an opportunity for an article, campaign or collaboration that we haven’t thought of yet.
You’ll work across content, social media, email, SEO, digital campaigns and reporting, helping us find interesting ways to tell the stories behind our projects, products and people.
You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing, but we don’t want someone who simply waits for the next brief. We want someone curious, creative and full of ideas, who enjoys being part of a team but is equally comfortable taking something and running with it.
Experience and ability matter, but personality and attitude are just as important to us. We’re a collaborative team and want someone who will contribute, get involved and enjoy what they do.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Editorial
- Research and write project case studies, articles, news and website content.
- Find the interesting angle – identifying stories, ideas and editorial opportunities.
- Write, edit and proofread content across digital channels.
- Build relationships across Sales, Product and the wider business to uncover projects, stories and content opportunities.
- Liaise with architects, designers, clients, contractors, suppliers and partners to gather information, imagery and collaborative content.
- Adapt stories for website, social and email.
- Ensure content is consistent with the Domus brand, tone of voice and wider marketing strategy.
- Work with our Visual Content Executive to develop ideas for photography and visual content.
- Keep an eye on the wider design world, competitors and digital trends, bringing new ideas and inspiration back to the team.
Social Media & Email
- Plan and manage Instagram, LinkedIn and Pinterest.
- Come up with ideas for posts, stories, series and collaborations.
- Write copy, source assets, schedule content and manage engagement.
- Prepare and edit digital assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
- Plan, write and schedule email campaigns.
- Develop audience segmentation where appropriate.
- Review performance and continually look for ways to make our communications better.
SEO & Digital
- Develop SEO keyword strategies, researching relevant keywords, topics and search opportunities to inform content.
- Research and write meta descriptions, page titles, alt text and other on-page SEO content.
- Monitor GA4, Search Console and digital channel performance.
- Produce monthly reporting across website, social and email.
- Look beyond the numbers – using performance, engagement, traffic and lead generation to understand what is working and what we should do next.
Campaigns
- Work with the Head of Marketing to bring the annual campaign plan to life.
- Turn campaign ideas into content and channel plans.
- Bring your own creative ideas and suggest new approaches.
- Coordinate content across website, social and email.
- Collaborate with the wider Marketing and Design teams to deliver campaigns.
- Review what worked, what didn’t and what we could do differently next time.
About You
First and foremost, you’ll be a great fit for the team. We value people with personality, curiosity and enthusiasm who aren’t afraid to have an opinion, suggest something different or ask “what if we tried this?”
You’ll be a strong writer with a genuine interest in architecture, interiors, design and the creative world around you. You’ll be organised enough to manage your own workload, confident enough to approach people for the information you need, and proactive enough to spot opportunities without always being given a brief.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills.
- Previous experience in a marketing, content or digital role.
- Experience creating content for social media and email.
- Good Adobe Creative Suite editing skills and a strong visual eye.
- An understanding of SEO and writing content for search.
- Strong research and organisational skills.
- The confidence to manage your own workload and multiple projects.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build good relationships internally and externally.
- Plenty of ideas, curiosity and a willingness to get involved.
Experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Mailchimp and social scheduling platforms would be beneficial, but we don’t expect you to know everything from day one.
Skills can develop. What matters most is having the right attitude, creative instinct and willingness to get involved.
We want someone who will bring something of their own to Domus – your ideas are very much part of the job.
Pay: £28,500.00-£35,000.00 per year
