We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our HS2 North Calvert Civils Package team based in Buckinghamshire. In this role you'll be supporting them in delivering commercial excellence across the project
Location: HS2 North Calvert Civils Package, Buckinghamshire
Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Salary: from £65,000 per year + private healthcare + £6.7k annual car allowance + benefits

What will you be responsible for?
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll play a key role in managing commercial resources on this exciting project. You'll be supporting the team in maximising value, controlling costs and maintaining quality standards whilst working on one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.
Your day to day will include:
- Managing commercial resources to maximise planned gross margin through effective contract control
- Preparing and submitting valuations, claims and contract performance data
- Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks
- Maximising cash flow through measurement, valuation and invoicing processes
- Valuing subcontractor work and certifying interim and final payments
What are we looking for?
This Senior Quantity Surveyor role could be a great fit if you bring:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the construction or highways sector
- A relevant qualification, such as a Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (desirable)
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships
- A well-organised approach, with proven time management and the ability to prioritise effectively
