Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, providing friendly and attentive service throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including counters, tables, and equipment
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a hygienic environment for staff and guests
- Manage cash register operations with basic math skills for transactions, change handling, and receipts
- Restock supplies as needed to keep the cafe fully equipped for daily operations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and assist with other duties as assigned
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are most important
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in beverage preparation
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction and communication
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience working in a restaurant or cafe setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
