Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and speciality drinks, adhering to company standards.
- Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed during food preparation and service.
- Greet customers warmly, taking orders efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas throughout the shift.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Assist in food preparation tasks when required, supporting team members to meet customer demands promptly.
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple customers efficiently during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Strong serving skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
- Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
