Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and delivering exceptional service. Candidates must possess a valid driving licence and experience in commercial driving, preferably with flatbed delivery experience.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including flatbed lorries, across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are secured properly during transit
- Plan delivery routes to optimise efficiency and meet delivery schedules
- Verify delivery details and obtain necessary signatures upon receipt of goods
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries made and mileage travelled
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients upon delivery
- Assist with loading and unloading when required
- Must have right to work
Qualifications
- Valid driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, ideally with flatbed or commercial driving background
- Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations in the area
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate a variety of delivery vehicles safely and responsibly
- Good physical fitness to handle loading/unloading tasks
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude towards work and clients

Pay: £500.00-£600.00 per week
